A friend of mine wrote me to see if I wanted to go to Design Festa this fall.  It’s a craft festival held at Tokyo Big Site convention center in the spring and fall every year.  It’s not jury-ed so while one booth might be displaying water colors of birds, the next one might sell you a fake scar for your face for 500 yen.  While one  might be selling hand made paper lanterns, and the next felt pandas, the one next to the felt pandas might be displaying live human bondage.  I said yes, I wanted to go.  It’s a great place to buy little notebooks.
